to the stranger in my mind...

for a moment
i felt completely alone
as the woman in black
continued on her journey
only the sounds of her footsteps
and that of her cane
vibrating in my mind
perhaps...somewhere along the line
our lives were intertwined...
and as i look at myself once again..
i could almost hear her
calling my name
just once!
